Frazier Nivens is Director of Cinematography and the founder, President and CEO of Ocean Imaging Productions and has been internationally recognized as one of the top underwater cinematographers for over 35 years.  He is a National Academy of Television and Arts and Science multiple Emmy award winning underwater cinematographer.  He has shot for Discovery Shark Week, National Geographic Channels, "One Strange Rock", Animal Planet, Disney, Mutual of Omaha’s "Wild Kingdom", History Channels "Stan Lee's Superhumans" starring Will Trubridge, and the Emmy award winning TV series, "How to do Florida".  Others clients include CNN, CNN Heroes, CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS, BBC, TBS, MTV, Fox, Univision, Fusion TV, Travel Channel, the "Last Frontier" TV series with John Stoneman, Travel and Sports and Que Pasa magazines plus many more.  Frazier is also a featured Cinematographer in the immersive Movie presentation "The Blue Paradox" and Jared Leto's Documentary film "A Day In The Life Of America" and films "The Infidel" and "Highway to Hell".  He has traveled extensively internationally for his filming expeditions which include South Africa, the Red Sea, the Bahamas, Egypt, Hawaii, Indonesia, Honduras, Turks and Caicos, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Catalina Islands, Guadalupe Island and the Galapagos.   Frazier also works as Director of Cinematography and Productions for the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation.

Frazier began to work with underwater cinematographer John Stoneman using his state-of-the-art Super 16mm Film cameras which greatly inspired and shaped his life.  John hired Frazier to help him film an underwater television series, the "Ocean Mosaic" filmed in Egypt, Hawaii about humpback whales and South Africa about sharks. Soon after Frazier won his first National Academy of Television Arts and Science Emmy award for excellence in programming, “Sharks, Killer’s of the Caribbean” which was filmed in the Bahamas which confronted the myths and misconceptions about sharks. His latest Emmy award was for the documentary, "Troubled Waters, A Turtles Tale" in 2020.

His latest work is with National Geographic Channels Gordon Ramsey's "Uncharted" series and Crawford Entertainment on the television series, "Protect Our Paradise".
