Professional Underwater Cinematography Immersion Program.
Frazier Nivens has studied photography for many years and started taking underwater photos in 1967 when he first began diving with a Nikonos II underwater camera and Nikonos Bulb Flash. Things have changed since then. Frazier now uses state of the art digital underwater imaging equipment and houses a Canon MKII 1DS in a Subal Underwater Housing with wide angle and Macro Lens ports.

The Professional Digital or Film Underwater Photography Course consists of:
3-1/2 days of classroom workshops covering everything from the basics if you need them to include advanced shooting techniques. Frazier will customize the course to fit your needs. Close focus wide angle/macro/ techniques will be shown and you’ll work with your existing equipment or rental underwater camera equipment to perfect your techniques. A post dive Photoshop and Aperture workshop in how to make the most of your underwater photography digital or film imaging will also be conducted.. There will be 3- 1/2 days of two tank dives where you will practice your skills underwater under Frazier’s helpful observation. Constructive positive critique will be given on each image after each dive with suggestions for improvement given for the next dive. Final Graduation certificate and either the PADI Underwater Photography Specialty Diver or Instructor certification* will be awarded upon successful completion of all requirements for that program. You must be a current certified PADI Open Water Instructor for this program.
